The tote bag brand "ROOTOTE" was born in 2001 in Japan.
 
Tote bags have been used habitually for years by people all over the world as a tool of carrying things.　ROOTOTE tote bags are simple, and all of them have a convenient side pocket (called a "ROO POCKET"). In addition to this, its fashionable design and the pursuit of comfortable functions for daily use are feature points. We have started an art project with ｢ELLE DECO Japan｣ since November 2007, in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of ELLE DECO first release. In this project, we planned to offer ROOTOTE TALL module as the canvas the creators can put their artworks on. We introduce 7 creators' tote bags through the year.

to furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations,his boldness has been
transcending the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, and
gathering worldwide attention. Being a multifaceted creator, Hayon has developed
in diverse areas: from curatorial roles, to those or a designer and an artist.
